SWPA BotsIQ Teams Going to Nationals

With a successful Southwestern PA competition in the history books for 2013, the Bots season still isn’t over for several area high schools.  Following up on strong performances at SWPA BotsIQ,  five area schools are taking their teams to the national competition May 17-19, 2013 in Indianapolis, IN.

Pittsburgh area teams will compete against 50 teams from seven different states at the National Robotics League (NRL) Competition sponsored by The National Tooling & Machining Association.  Last year, Plum High School’s team, Still N’ Shock 2 took the title of 2012 National Grand Champion.  Good luck to our local teams this year:

Clairton HS

Plum HS

Propel Braddock Hills HS

East Westmoreland CTC

Somerset County TC
