When it comes to staying competitive, manufacturing companies must be constantly forward thinking. Even companies with strong traditions and history of success have learned that what got them here, may not get them there. The days of status quo are long gone for companies that want to be competitive in this economy.
We’re proud to say that Pittsburgh Chapter NTMA companies get it– and others are noticing, too. Our hats go off this week to a member company recognized in the news for doing it right.
In an October 5 article in the Pittsburgh Business Times (PBT), writer Malia Spencer wrote about New Kensington-based, Accrotool’s success with implementing new, web-based software that is streamlining their paperwork and process. The software, called Exact Synergy, is designed for document control and relationship management. Since implementing this technology, the PBT article reports that Accrotool “is running at a higher sales level but has dropped management overhead by 20 percent. The firm also has 99 percent on-time delivery.” If you subscribe to the Pittsburgh Business Times, you can follow these links to read the entire article.

Thank you Accrotool for being the kind of company we’re proud to count among our members!
